The process is completed with a final coat of lacquer to seal off the surface of the bowls. This makes the ToPo Bowl not water proof, but water resistant. It can be cleaned with a wet cloth. But should be kept away from to much humidity. The ToPo Bowl comes in three different sizes: Small, Medium and Large. If you would like to order one please contact us by email. We make them custom to order so you can choose from an array of colors and different types of Paper.
The beauty of a move lies not in its appearance but in the thought behind it.
- Aaron Nimzowitsch
This design of a chess set aimed to make these beautiful thoughts visible. Although the pieces have been aesthetically reduced, they have been awarded a new function. They have become stamps, as well as pieces in the game of kings. By leaving behind prints, each move is recorded much like a written word in a book. And just like the pages, the game board has become a sheet of paper. The players record their movements across the board. And with that create a unique print of each game played, which then is signed and dated by the two players. It becomes a recording-a snapshot of a game past. Or the visualization of beautiful thoughts two people shared in play.

Today eating out has become a stylized event. Wether you choose to go to a fast food shack around the corner or to a trendy upscale restaurant; you will encounter a coherent design concept bringing together food and location. It will encompass the interior, the tools, the tableware, and of course the meal. The same applies to a catered event. The guest looks forward to the spectacle of a great meal. However, contrary to the restaurant the catered event has to re-invent this eating-event in ever-changing locations. This extraordinary circumstance poses high expectations on the caterer and his equipment. As in the restaurant food lies in the centre of this event. Due to the ubiquitous nature of the location caterers rely much more on their equipment and decor to create this stylized event. Applying methods of Activity Centred Design and Design Semantics. This was the basis for the study and design of this new Catering System. The aim was to create a system that suits the needs of both caterer and guests. The overall outcome of the study is a catering system that allows and optimized workflow for the caterer and an aesthetically appealing set of tableware for the guest. www.amazon.com

It was important to create a bookshelf that would draw your attention to the books, while using minimal amounts of space. PLATT is a bookshelf that is easy to handle, there is no assembly necessary, it is easy to carry, and store when not in use. However, if you live with young children we advise you to make use of the hook system at the back of the shelve. One screw is all that is needed to fix PLATT to your wall.
Seeds is a jewelry line that proposes an answer to the increasing amounts of disposable jewelry. It is a series of rings that are designed to be ephemeral. They compliment our nature, in the sense that these pieces are just as momentary as our attention for them. They wear down and once we have lost interest in them seeds become something else. You simply plant the ring and get to enjoy it in a different way. It grows into the mint you have in your tea or the basil on your pasta. You get to eat them up and enjoy them as long as they grow.
